im going to bed

last night after blogging we had dinner then watched irvin mayfield and his group play. then we came bak and me mertz n bonz watched a stand up comic on my comp. then i went to sleep. then i woke up. then i ate food. then bonz me diana n randy finished glorias brick patio and got her yard leveled...by a JD bobcat. then we joined up with the others so that we could pet doggies while they finished cleaning poo. then we got burgers. then we came here and planed 2g trips. then we looked at all pictures from past camps that took a looong time. now im blogging. i am going to go to bed bc im flippin hungry and have to wait.

Today we had french toast for breakfast then went to the animal shelter. The dogs were really cute and I m suprised they weren't as emotionally damaged for being abandoned. Randy better get Anastashia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we hit a burger joint and then reached a concensous (spelling).

Last night we went and ate at Snug Harbor. It was yummy. Schmutzie (lisa) had BBQ shrimp and I(cat) had shrimp in a garlic butter sauce that was very tasty. We also both had these huge baked potatoes piled with all sorts of stuff. Schmutzie had a drink called a Huma Huma, it was very large. The Monsoons that others had were also really big for an alcoholic drink so as you can imagine everyone was feeling quite good towards the end of the evening. After dinner we went upstairs to where we listened to live jazz. We were a little worried if we would get in at first because they didn't have a list of us coming like we thought they did, but Diana got tickets and it was all ok. The music was a lot of fun. Me and schumtzie decided sleepies (brian) was extremely special when he would holler for the musicians, but he doesn't know that. Also we already knew he was extremely special. Anyway we left when it was a good time to go because this really scary looking guy was trying to buy Adrianna some drinks, but its ok cause we got her out safely. This morning we had french toast, sausage, and fruit for breakfast. After we were well fed we headed out to Diana's house where we loaded bricks into her car. The boys, no Patrick though, went with Diana to finish Glorias patio. Bear took the girls to ARNO, and animal shelter. Jean and Patrick stayed inside to clean up the cats cages, Pam and Adrianna started by walking the dogs, and schmutzie, me and bear cleaned the cages and got fresh food for the dogs. Lisa then walked some too while Pam came to help clean cages. Then some of the shelves were cleaned off and reorganized, and Lisa, Patrick, and I cleaned a big puppy area. The boys met up with us and we took off for lunch. We went to Bud's Broiler, and pretty much everyone had burgers. They also had really good chili fries. We came back for 2G meetings, and talked about a lot of stuff. We have lots of ideas for upcoming summers but thats all we'll say for now since there is still lots of planning to be done and lots of details to be finalized. O and Bear brought us snowcones for the meetings that were quite refreshing. We looked at all the pictures from that past camps, which was highly entertaining; there was lots of laughing going on. Anyway we are going to have BBQ by the pool tonight and maybe catch a show. Until later.... the schmutzies

Blahg.

After blogging yesterday Xander and I decided to go in to the miniature pool for a little swim. We even brought our rubber ducky who we eventually found. The pool is really little so we decided that we would try to swim from one end to the other and back underwater. The problem we had was that we went at the same time and after we had turned around and just pushed off the wall we crashed into each other with our heads. Deezamn that hurt so bad, we both got up and were totally dazed for a couple of minutes. We finally came to and got out and got ready for dinner, which was at Snug Harbor, a restaurant and jazz venue. We ate our dinner and then headed to the little stage area and sat upstairs.

The music was pretty damn good and I think we all enjoyed it a lot, except for the fact that some how Spags acquired a stalker at some point. After that we headed back and watched the Katt Williams DvD. I can do this all day, every day, no problem. After that we crashed out after we stole a bed for Patrick.

Today we woke up and got some breakfast, and then headed to Diana's house to load up the car with bricks so we could finish our patio. Randy, Diana, Xander and I then headed back to Gloria's house and completed our little patio, with just one extra trip to get more bricks. All the others in the meantime headed over to Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) and worked with the people there, feeding, walking, and cleaning up after the cats and dogs. When we had finished the patio we headed over to ARNO to meet up with the others and go and get some lunch. We went to a little burger joint and had some tasty sandwiches. We then headed back to our BnB and took a shower and are now about to have meetings. Toodles.

The Adventures of Smiles, Pt. 2

Okay so today i learned what it was like to become a personal human scratching post for dozens of cats who have been sitting in cages for who knows how long...we headed at some ungodly early hour to the animal rescue shelter this morning. fun fun....yeah...yup...Jean and I spent most of the time cleaning out cat cages and feeding and watering said cats. Pretty uneventful...until one cat almost died...yeah, really...true story..The rest of my time at the animal shelter was spent dealing with four puppies while chews and Shmoots tried to clean their cage..fun huh? yeah, they had puppy teeth, it was at this point in time i changed from personal scratching post to personal chew toy...fun fun.
